Cry of the WolfThe howls that carry the song of sorrow,
Soak the night into weeping morrow.
Unanswered it goes, deaf to all who can hear,
But the lamenting wolf keeps singing in tears.
A twinge of grief forces song into cries,
As the wound from the Lion bleeds through the night.
The half that's still beating; the half not ripped out,
Is slowly but surely losing its pound.
Not a squeak or a sound in the forest is near,
But the breath of a dying wolf shedding her tears.

Silent ScreamsDarling, I miss you.
Even if we dragged each other through Hell,
I miss your sweet voice.

We were a pair of masochists...
a pair of sadists...

We hurt each other,
but I still |l|o|v|e| |y|o|u|
[even though it might just be the biggest mistake I've ever made].

I know it seems like this darkness could go on forever,
but, honey, the sun always rises.

The Saddest TruthWhen I stare at the girl
With the shattering mask
And see her eyes dulled to gray
As the lips tilt into a broken smile
And she denies any wrong
Saying all is perfectly fine, okay,
Even so far as good.

Then I know that it is the mask
That is speaking to me
Not the girl who rests behind.
But I will not force her,
Ripping off her mask myself;
She has the strength to remove it.

She has the choice
To show her face to me
Or to hide the wounds
That steadily are deepening
Cutting into the beautiful soul
And rending it apart like ribbons
With every new pain she must endure.

That is the saddest truth
That the scared, scarred girl

AbusedThe way you loved me,
You handled me like a breakable heart.
Your tenderness was reachable,
I thought it would remain the same.

The way you loved me
Became the deceit and lies.
They were whispered with such sweet guile
That I forgave them all.

The way you loved me
Was never love at all.
It was the hitting, and the loathing,
It was everything you've done to break me down.

The way you loved me,
It created the scars
That cry to me from beyond the nightmares.
And race, forever, in my mind.

outshines the stars.

outside the broken soul

The only definition that you see
Can be summed up in one word; me.

Get one scratch

Guess that smile was a lie

Filled with love and hate
Help myself before it's too late

Throwing words like raindrops fall
Away without dignity I crawl

Beg and cry but I'm not forgiving
Killing hope is how you make a living

Words can cut and cuts will scar
Memories kill, I'm not

I admit that I've always been the type

because sometimes you can lose yourself

I don't know;
I'm quiet, but I like things loud.
I hate the rain, but I love dark clouds.
I am lonely but prefer to be alone.
I'm homesick, but I don't want to go home.
I'm independent, but I need my friends.
I hate to lie, though I love to pretend.
When it's hot, I'm the only one cold.
I shy away when it's time to be bold.
I hate when things change but I hate to stay the same.
I guess I'm normal, but I'm also insane.
